Monday June 13 – Queen’s Birthday weekend was too glorious to stay at home. A simple morning was spent driving onto the beach – under the Surf Club and walking up to the Coloured Sands.
The crowd digressed on Mudlo rocks and wanted to jump in right then, but postponed any splashes until the way back.
With the tides opeing up up the beach, scores of vehicles were either heading up to Double for the day (and no wonder on such a cracker of a day) or enjoying their drive back to Noosa.
The famous coloured sands against the blue sky.
Then a stroll back to the favourite jumping hole and a swim in the flags.
