Last weekend, I had two swims at the beach – the water temperatures are divine! Friends took off up to Double Island Point, it’s a great place – the sheltered bay is a mecca for board riders – with the longest wave on the East coast. It’s the closest you can get to a tropical island on the mainland. “Honeymoon Bay” is busier on weekends, so if you are here mid-week make the most of it.

You can laze by a lagoon and see the armies of soldier crabs marching, or dolphins playing, or just look at the beautiful Coloured Sands. If you are feeling energetic, walk up to the Lighthouse or clamber over the rocks and watch the surfers.
Let us know if you need to book a 4WD drive, or we can book you on a kayak with the dolphins tour or on the Surf and Sand Safari day trip. We often spot turtles from the Lighthouse.
