“It has been a huge project,” said Manager, Heatley Gilmore. “First we started with a new driveway, which was done in stages to accomodate guests.”
Next was the painting of each of the 10 buildings. “As we are surrounded by the bush, colours were chosen to represent our beautiful natural environment. A landscape architect was consulted on the upgrade, with the body corporate involved in choosing the final three colours.” Even the signage of each building was revamped and modernised.
The team at Rainbow Getaway also spruced up the garden, said Heatley: “Unfortunately council had to remove the tree out the front, but we have invested significantly in planting more throughout the complex.”
“The pool fence was replaced with black tubular panels. The same aluminium panelling was then used to surround the complex, with timber posts, after removing the old wooden palings. This was topped off with a hardwood fencing feature at the entrance.”
There are plans for more greenery in the gardens – in fact they look so good, a guest has asked to host their wedding ceremony in the grounds.
Pretty soon we’ll be updating photos on our website – but if you haven’t yet seen the makeover, when you next visit, you will be impressed!
