Visitors had the best time with us at the Fishing Classic. Last weekend, one of our guests was runner up in the competition – and their best friend won the $10,000 prize! Other families (pictured) stayed and raked in the prizes at the family friendly comp. A fun week!
We’ve received confirmation that the Festival of Small Halls is coming to Rainbow Beach Community Hall on Sunday, December 10 so save the date and book now. With acts out of the Woodford Folk festival – they choose one international and one local band to perform in small communities like ours. It should be a wonderful night!
Last month the Great Day Out (old Great South East) was filmed in the region. Sofie Formica and the crew stayed at Rainbow Beach, did a horse ride, and kayaked with dolphins where they had whales swim under the kayak. It’s due to be aired early this month on the Seven Network so look out for it.
