Never have I seen so many rocks at the beach, in all our 13 plus years of living in Rainbow. Although, the sand will cover them up again with time – it is perfect for rock hopping – the kids will love it! Plus the low tide wallowing in the pools is a must! You can still walk the beach – just walk towards Inskip instead!
I’m planning to visit Seary’s Creek, the Sandblow, Poona Lake and get loads of beach time these school holidays … but there’s so much coming up in Rainbow Beach and the coast, I’m not sure that I’lll fit it all in!
Thirsty Merc are at the Sports Club April 21! Easter Sunday fun as this well-known band perform at Rainbow Beach Sports Club with special guests Caitlyn Shadbolt and Linc Phelps!
On April 27 come to the Bull and Bronc Spectacular with a Travis Collins After Party (a separate ticketed event).
May Long weekend – there’s the annual Rainbow Beach Hotrod and Rockabilly Rumble, now relocated to the centre block, plus Warbirds and the Bay to Bay Yacht Race in Tin Can Bay.
