Another beautiful day- plus the lowest of low tides this afternoon.
Whilst the family stopped to play under the dunes,
It was a quick walk up to the beginning of the coloured sands.
They extend for kilometres towards Double Island Point. With anglers dotted along the way and the odd 4WD. Tides were so low, it was excellent driving conditions along the beach.
Back to the flags, many were tempted into the water. We’ll have to make sure we pop down for visits to the beach after school’s out! Book your accommodation or find out more about Rainbow Beach activities at Rainbow
